Welcome to the Common Application Centre at the Consular Section of the Embassy of Hungary in Moldova! Common Visa Application Centre is at your disposal!

Hungary and other Member States have endorsed an agreement of representation in accordance with general Schengen regulations.   At the core of these agreements lies the presumption that applications for Schengen visa (visa type C, with a short stay up to 90 days per 180 days)
for the participating countries may be lodged at the representation, at the Common Application Center.
At the Common Application Centre you can apply for a short-term  (visa type C) Schengen visa if you wish to travel to Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece,  Latvia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland or Hungary, and a short-term visa to Croatia.
In case you wish to travel to a country other than those listed above, please address directly to the Embassy of the country you wish to visit.

Application for residence permit (visa type D)  may be lodged  only for Hungary.
The processing of visas for these countries will take place in conformity with the general Schengen practices.
In the case of a visa application for Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland, the decision will be taken by the Hungarian consul at the Common Application Centre.  In the case of Croatia, the decision will be taken by the Consul of Croatia in Bucharest. The visas issued at the Hungarian representation are equivalent to the visas issued by the represented country.
Visa (type C) application  processing takes approximately  5 working days, in special cases (necessity of additional documents or information) the processing period can be extended from 10  to 30 days. Visa (type D ) application  processing takes approximately 15-20 working days.   We kindly request you to prepare your journey in advance.
