According to general Schengen regulations, the Republic of Hungary enters into the agreements of representation with other member states. At the core of these agreements lies the presumption that applications for A and C type Schengen visas up to 90 days for the participating countries may be lodged at the representation.

At the Common Application Centre you can apply for a short-term (A,C) Schengen visa if you wish to travel to Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland.

The processing of visas for these countries will take place in conformity with the general Schengen practices. The visas issued at the Hungarian representation are equivalent to the visas issued by the represented country. Presently, in the case of a visa application for Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Slovenia and Sweden, the decision shall be taken by the Hungarian consul at the Common Application Centre.
